When I think of a perfect Father’s Day, it’s the family gathered around a festive picnic table draped in red and white checkered cloth, somewhere out in the woods, kids running through the pines, the menfolk fishing, and the tabletop ladened with manly-man food.
No fussy brunches here. Good old honest to goodness stick to the ribs kind of cuisine.
Well, no sense in keeping you waiting. I will go forth and produce a fantastic Father’s Day meal which will feed a gaggle of folks. It’s hearty. It’s seasonal. It’s all so easy and many made ahead dishes will be a life saver.
Keep the dishes chilled and diversified with meat, poultry, seafood and chocolate! How perfect is that?
